3. Ever since a part of her limbic system was destroyed, Vanessa has had trouble controlling her appetite and has had a constant urge to eat and drink. Which structure was most likely damaged?

4. Mr. Ashley has a disorder that is characterized by rigidity, muscle tremors, poor balance, and difficulty in initiating movements.

5. Family members and friends who know you are taking a psychology course may ask you some interesting and curious questions. One often-asked question is: "I know that regular exercise helps keep me in shape physically, but is there anything I can do to prevent mental deterioration?" 1. In the first case person slipped on ice and hit the back of his head. In the back of the brain, occipital lobe is present that control vision.Here, the person has effected vision due to the injury on the back side of brain which effect occipital lobe.

2. Brain tumor removel operation affect verious part of brain depend upon tumor location. Here, the patient has difficulty in language production means speaking and express themselves. Language production is control by frontal lobe and left hemisphere, so left frontal lobe is called broca area. If this area is effected after brain tumor removel, significantly affect use of spontaneous speech means communication skill. This problem referred as broca aphesia, patients speaking and expreesing themselves are severly affected whereas understanding spoken and written language may be relatively well preserved.

3. Apetite is controlled by hypothalamus present in the brain. Damage of hypothalamus leads to the uncontrolled apetite and had constant urge of eat and drink. Hypothelemic signaling help in controlling apetite.

4. Mr. ashley has parkinson's disease that characterized by all the symptoms mention in the question. Parkinson disease occur due to the gradual and progreesive death of neuron in substantia nigra that involve in sending signal to throughout the body that help in control the movement by producing chemical called dopamine. Loss of neuron affect motor movement and produce all the symptoms.

5. Reduce stress because it reduce the concentration and affect the brain severly. Mental excercise such as learn a new langauage or playing a mind game help you to improve your mental health. Take plenty of sleep to relax mind and eat food with full of vitamine and antioxident. All of these habits can prevent your mental deterioration.
