D. Some organisms closely related but due to genetic mutation it becomes quite large different. Also unrelated organisms distantly related but looks alike. This causes are due to similar environmental conditions. The similar character due to environmental issue and not due to evolutionary relationship is called homoplasy. So due to this we mostly mislead in phylogentic trees.
