A B C D E F G H I J A very corrosive reagent used in this experiment.
A B C D E F G H I J The weak acid used in this experiment.
Explanation / Answer
Answer – We are given the A to J response and we ned to answered the given question with later A to J. This is the acid base titration experiment.
First question – F- The primary standard used for this experiment.
We know the primary standard means the species in which we know its molarity and we used as standard one, so in the given response there is 6M NaOH is used as primary standard used for this experiment.
Second question -B -What is the solution called that is placed in a buret for a titration? -
We know the solution in the burette is called titrant, the titrant is used as primary standard one so answer for this one is B.
Third question – F- A very corrosive reagent used in this experiment. –
We know the NaOH is corrosive and we are given the high concentration of 6M NaOH, so this one is very corrosive reagent.
Fourth question – H-The weak acid used in this experiment.
We know the weak acid means which can dissociate incompletely and in this experiment there is used KHC8H4O4 (potassium hydrogen phthalate) as weak acid.
