The percent error = [ (Approximate Value Exact Value ) = 7.95 - 8.00 = -0.05 = 0.05.

= 0.05 / 8 = 0.00625 * 100

= 0.625 %

You are correct but write the your answer ingoring -ve sing and with % sing at suffix.
