What is the value of the rate constant if the reaction is multipled by 3? Express your answer in scientific notation.   

Solution :- when the reaction is multiplied by 3 then rate constant is also increases by factor 3

So

New rate constant K = (keq)^3

                            = (2.37*10^6)^3

                           = 1.33*10^19

b) Consider the following reaction: A + 2B 3 C   Keq= 4.05x106

What is the value of the rate constand if the reaction is reversed? Express your answer in scientific notation.

Solution :- when the reaction is reversed then rate constant is inversed therefore

New rate constant K = 1/ keq

                                      = 1 / 4.05*10^6

                                     = 2.47*10^-7
