from thew half life we can find out the rate constant

the relation between half life and rate constant for first order is

k = 0.639 / t1/2

k = 0.693 / 32 min = 0.02165 min-1

now take the first oder rate equation

k = (2.303/t ) log(A0/A)

where k = rate constant = 0.02165 min-1

t = time which is given as 2.5 hours convert in to min

= 2.5 x 60 = 150 min

A0 = intial concentration let it be 100%

A= concentration after 2.5 h we need to calculate

plug in all the values in the above equation

0.02165 min-1 = (2.303/ 150 ) log (100 /A)

log (100 /A) = 150 x 0.02165 / 2.303

log (100 /A) = 1.41

100 / A = 101.41 = 25.73

A = 100 / 25.73

A = 3.88%
