Question

Think about your own exposure to gender identity and gender awareness. Do you remember when you first became aware (or were made aware) of your gender? What moment or moments in your life have you experienced a sense of what it means to be a gendered person? What cues did you get that led you to that awareness? How was your awareness of your gender intertwined with other aspects of your identity such as your social class, your race/ethnicity, and/or your sexual identity?

Even better!: If you have a photograph of yourself at a young age, post it! How is your younger self doing gender? Was it your choice to express gender in this way or was it imposed on you by adults?

Explanation / Answer

Gender identity and gender awarness is so much prompt in indian culture or in other cultures too that a child could understand it in its earliest age as he starts to understand the world. People make many difference from clothes to their behaviour towards child, all vary for a girl child as for boy child. The most basic moment to experience one's gender is when they pee. And as the child grow it leads to more and more exposure towards their gender they are having. Expression of gender is always imposed by the society we live in. My awarness interwined at my adolsence when i was introduced to puberty. Being a girl child i came to know about the most bad and big difference i.e. My periods. This is the worst difference which realises me my gender and leads to the best experience of being a mother in future. This the actual time i came to clearance of my gender. And except it.
