Crystallization of sulfanilamide did not occur because of the proper ratio of solute and solvent.
For crystallization of any substance, we need only that much amount of solvent, which can dissolve the solute means here large amount of solvent prevents crystallization of sulfanilamide. Thus for crystallization of sulfanilamide; concentrate the solution.
