[1] Analytical wavelengths of,

the yellow dye = 560-600 nm

the blue dye = 625 nm

the green dye = 450-560 nm

[2] The spectrum of yellow and blue food color dyes will show absorbance peaks in region 400-450 nm for violet light and 600-640 nm for orange light. These are complementary colors of yellow and blue color dyes.

[3] The color of the solution made by mixing yellow and blue food color dyes would be green.

[4] The beaker in which the dye solution is prepared must be thoroughly clean before making solutions as any impurities present may give rise to additional absorption peaks in the UV spectrum.
