Partial Pressure of the CO2 formed = 656.7 - 26.7 = 630 torr Answer for (a)
Volume = 17.05-0.3 = 16.75 mL
Amount of CO2 formed
PV = nRT
630 x 0.01675 = n x 62.363 x 300
n = 5.64 x 10-4 moles answer for (b)
1 mole of NaHCO3 will give 1 mole of CO2 as per the equation
NaHCO3 ---> NaOH + CO2
SO moles of NaHCO3 = 5.64 x 10-4 moles
so mass of NaHCO3 is 5.64 x 10-4 moles x 84g/mol = 0.047 g answer for (c)
SO it will be 0.047/0.124 x 100 = 38.21%
