wind drection explains the location of high pressure zone and low pressure zone and the wind direction also shows the coriolis effect because wind direction depends on the coriolis efffect as well as pressure zones
rapid city , south dakota will be recieve more precipitation then columbus because wind which comes from the coastal areas it will be cooled down when it reaches rapid city while columbus is located near the coastal areas, at this time wind will warm .
