1.The sugar present is 2.94-0.95 gm = 1.99 gm. The weight of the bubble gum is 2.94 gm.THerefore the percentage of sugar present is 1.99/2.94 *100 = 67.68%.
2.The accepted value is 2.00 gm,Therefore the percentage error is |2.00-1.99|/2.00 *100 = 0.5% error.
3. The chewing of the gum will hamper the mass of the sugar. The sugar will dissolve in the saliva and its some part can be digested by the mucous in the mouth, THis will make the calculed sugar somewhat less than the true sugar content of the gum. This is anyways evident in our calculation (the calculated sugar amount is 1.99 gm with respect to the true value of 2.00 gm).
