For this short exercise, you will select an issue that plays an important role in our world todayor. Locate two different websites that present contrasting views on the issue. Evaluate each website using what you now know about information literacy. I select electronic waste or e-waste as an issue that plays an important role in our world today. When electronics products end up in landfills, many toxics like lead, mercury, cadmium, etc. leach into the soil and water. The electronic waste problem is huge for many countries. All over the globe, aroung 20 million tons of e-waste are produced every year.
