Question
Write a paper that identifies a specific for-profit unionized and nonprofit non-unionized health care organization and briefly describe each. Then compare and contrast the similarities/differences in human resource (HR) management for organizations that are unionized vs. non-unionized. Summarize which type of health care organization (unionized for-profit or non-unionized non-profit) you would most want to work for as an HR manager with rationale specifically addressing communication, performance, and organizational processes.
Explanation / Answer
non- unionized workers are those which are not associeted with any union membership.
for-profit and non profit organisation are fundamently same with diffrent approches to manage the economy of healthcare. All hospitals serve patient, employ physicians and nurses as their primary personel, and operate in the same regulatory fremework for delivery of clinical services.
In for-profit hospitals they genrate a return for the investors. and in non profit they are not bound to do that.
# quality- for-profit health care organisation see thier path way to success in both the way quality and profit too which make some time the system little greedy.but in order to be recognized, grow volume, and attract physicians as well as patient, they can not cut corners on the quality for long.
and in non profit organisation they focous on quality and they mainly work for needy people.
comparing the business model For-profit hospitals should operate with more zealous attention to business objectives than non profits because shareholders have their money on the line.the absence of a residual claimant with a finencial intrest in the organisation means that no one individual,or group of individuals has strong incentives to monitor the behavior of the organisation at non profit organisation.
in contrast non profit boards and their executive leadership theoretically have an incentive not to compramise quality nothing a non profit is required to distribute earnings back into the organisation or in communities.they can use earning in facilities, changes for patient.
in an for profits they do not compramise with quality in reality because of the reputation of organisation and investers wants to invest in it because of heavy profits.
I would like to work for for profit organisation to learn the real systemetic way in which the work should be done.
