Asian Americans are considered the "model minority". Asian Americans are very successful but have experienced prejudice and discrimination. They are very successful economically, educationally, and socially. Asian American have overcome their disadvantages without violence. Education is very important with the Asian Americans and some have become very successful. Half of the Asian Americans up to 25 years old compared to whites at 25% hold a bachelor degree. Even though they have the means to succeed many hit the bamboo ceiling with employment and are still discriminated against. I believe some of their civil rights of the Asian population is not being protected. It states in the book that hundreds of thousands were placed in other nations or remain in overcrowded refugee camps. I believe this is against their civil rights.

Yes I agrred to author that Asian American are the succssesful people. They overcome the violations with white people and get succeed in many fields. There are too much discrimination in the American countries in American and Asian American people's despite ot that discrimination the Asian American get success. They never demand anything they just do it. so they succeed. This is because they have goals and set out to achieve that goal in the world. We can say tat they are model minority. Apart from their minority they achieve more despite of to much discrimination from white. They know that education is the key to fight against the discrimination of they got educated and held top positions in world's top companies like Amar Bose, chairman and founder of Bose Corporation, Steve Chen, co-founder of YouTube, Jawed Karim, co-founder of YouTube are the examples.
