Hi, I need help with an assignment please...

Write about the use of ink or toner in your printer that is linked to a computer. What changes would you like to see to make the printing system more sustainable, especially in regard to personal costs. To make it more interesting, assume the role of a manager in a system where you have 300 people that use personal printers. There are at least two types of printers, laser and inkjet, and there are monochrome and color models that were purchased from three different manufacturers

Ink and toner both are used for printing the color and forming the text in the printer with respect to there technologies in which they are used, ink is used in inkjet printers and toner is used in laser printers.

Inkjet printing creates a digital image by dropping spots of ink onto paper; laser printers produce digital images by scanning a laser beam across photoreceptors. So which is better?

It depends on what kind of use we have, in case of managing 300 people with personal printers my opinion would be different compared to if the printer is public because it defers in terms of maintenance and maintenance cost to make the decision to have an optimal system.

so we can see here in case of low use inkjet is prone to fade away or get dry so here our choice should be laser printer because they provide better sustainability, if there needed to be only a single printer for use of 300 people then the decision would have been to go with inkjet even in case of requirement of 10 printers over 300 people.
