For the past five years South Gamara has been ruled by President Amoto, who has been trying to stabilize the country, help it develop, and relieve his people's poverty. A) Increased life expectancy arising out of improved healthcare will help the economy have a healthy and productive labor force, which will lead to increased output and thus increased GDP.

B) If the country does not increase its GDP, then the increased labor force will put a strain on the already scarce resources in the economy and will thus reduce living standards of the people.
