Unzen is situated in japan and makes up of the Shimabara Peninsula east of Nagasaki. japan is situated on the subduction zone of two oceanic plate thats why it is highly sensitive zone . there is always threat to the human life. in 1991 , Mt. Unzen erupts and in this eruption killed approximately 15,000 people. .
1. population of the world is increasing rapidly day by day. we know that we have a limited resources which will be end soon thats why increasing population of the world is very big threat for us. acording to the survey total population of the world is 7.5 billion currently and india and china are two most populated country in the world. china shares the 18.5% in world population and india shares the 17% in world population. according to an estimate it will be increase upto 11.2 billion by year 2100.
volocanic eruptions and other natural casualties dont affect this rate of increasing population. according to the survey9 babies born in every second around the whole world. and we cant categorized these eruption in the mass extinction event becaouse they are not big as earth's previous mass extinction events and these do not affect the population of the world. 15000 is just a minor no in front of 7.5 billion.
2. volcanbic eruption is the process under which becaouse of the tectonic plate movement molten material from the interior of the earth comes to the earth surface through the volcanoes and flows.. volcanic eruption contains toxic gases and ashes as well as with the molten material. which is more dangerous than molten material becaouse its affects our environment and air, sometimes volcanic ashes cover the sun and prohibite the sun rays to the earth surface.
3. in the most of cases scientist are able to tell the timing of eruption which is useful to save people's life but sometimes because of misinterpretation casualty can happens like in the Mt. Unzen, 1991 case. peoples are perceived about the volcanic eruption b y the blast in the volcano at the time of eruption and othe volcanic activities.
