Explanation / Answer
2)Conflicts are common in our day to day life. The other day, there was a conflict between two of my younger brothers, Debjyoti and Joydeep. They had a competition in school in sports. Debjyoti had won the game and Joydeep had come second in that. Joydeep was so angry on Debjyoti that he started misbehaving with the rest of the family. And Debjyoti also got angry with Joydeep and stopped talking with every family member. Joydeep can never accept his failure or accept someone who acheives more than him in any field, be it studies, or sports, or any extra curricular activities.
3) Ury's notion of the third side did intervene the conflict. The other family members, me and my parents acted as the third side. Like every other time, the duty lies on us to negotiate the tiffs between both. We made them talk with each other and made both of them understand that the true competition lies within one own self- that is we need to do better than our last performance. And we cant fight aming ourselves and dampen our spirits. Rather, we should support each other and enjoy each others presence and happiness too. We are one family. And then, the two brothers gave a second thought to what we said and sorted out their differences.
