Solar radiation hit on earth almost constantly. But due to cahnges in earth atmosphere such as presence of water vapour, cloud, pollution, difference in lat and long, the about ot radiation recieved in earth will be different.
Recent studies shows that ,these solar flares or sun spots is a 11 year Cycle and scientists also suggest that this cycles causes climate change. Many researchs have been carried out, still it is anactive topic for researching.
Recent research suggests that there is a relation between highly charged particles in ionosphere and major earthquakes, this can be related to solar radiation.
In brief, direct effect of solar flares to earth is in communication and indirectly it affect on climate.
