Other states do not allow citizens to carry handguns. Criminals, however, tend to have handguns in all states. Use economic analysis to predict the effects of handgun laws on the behavior of the typical criminal. The handgun laws of different states in USA and it's impact on behaviour and types of the criminal activity. Due to the law of carrying handgun the tendency to commit robberies criminal can fall or laws can reduce the robberies activity. The public can protect themselves from the criminal activity like robberies.
The robberies activity will not be easy if there is certain law. The criminals will be afraid from the situation that they can be shoot out by the owners of the handgun. But this handgun law can increase the other type of criminal activity because people can use the gun according to their wishes. The type of robberies activity will change because if the people have the gun with them then the criminal will think that that particular person has some more wealth and that time the criminals can target that particular portion of people. Economically well-off people will have more tendency to keep the handgun with them. Criminal activity and particularly the robberies activity can reduce with handgun law with the people. But at the same time the type of criminal activity can change. The criminals will attack in those areas where they will have less risk of facing problem. The criminals will search for some alternative type of robberies activity. Economically the people may get benefit by protecting themselves from those type of activity when they will have gun with them.
