Explanation / Answer

"People run for Congress by running against Congress" is the popular statement by Richard Fenno. As we aware of the individual whom we voted as congressperson where as Congress is more publicised and can be blamed by anyone. Congressperson who seek reelection will be reelected may be because of their name recognition, well-funded campaign coffers and the gerrymandering of congressional districts, one additional reason needs the attention of concerned voters: neighbor syndrome. It is when voters think congress is to blame for our troubles but are unwilling to carefully examine their own representative. The sentiment, “I know my congressman, they’re trustworthy, they’re fine”, can be attributed not only to the unwillingness to hold them accountable, but also the lack of information voters have on their own representative.Because people get informed by their candidate via email letters, campaign newsletter, or any biased information which influence their voters. So, we protest against Congress and seek of reelection of House or Senate but again the same congressperson is reelected as House and Senate.
