Question
What is societies?
Typically, we tend to think of our society as just natural. We think that it is just there the way the air is. We don't tend to think about how it affects us and our behavior. Societies are always changing. After all, they are created by the people and people change. Sometimes the change is intentional and sometimes not. That is why a social problem may be seen as such by some but not all. What people create, people can change. Compare the U.S. society with another of your choice. How do they differ and why?
Explanation / Answer
Ans it is simply group of interacting individuals having common culture and territory
I will compare usa and Indian society. Indian society is full of myths WHILEAS usa society does not suffer as much in this respect. Us society is more rational than Indian society. Society in India is less developed educationally and materistically. On the other hand Indian society plays more stress on religion, folk lores, magic, adherence to traditions etc.
They differ because enlightenment started much earlier in west than in india
