New innovations has reshaped the industry into a technological leader. There were much demand of power generation like electricity in US during 20th century and natural gases are low price generators.

The new technology such as 3D imaging of natural gases; measurement of resources during drilling; coiled tubing etc made extraction easy and safe compare to its traditional means of extraction.

Although coal is preferable to oil and natural gas as fuel to generate electricity because-

1) It is easily available.

2) The cost of generating electricity is low .

9).The other three things for which coal is responsible is-

i)Coal is stable source of energy and easily available in US.

ii) Coal provides more jobs.

iii)Coal should be used to reduce global warning.
