Explanation / Answer
After reading the article in my opinion reporter concentrated more about introduction part, missing important information regarding the global warming, ozone layer and how to fix the issue. The information provided was accurate but isn't well summarized to be honest because the article is completely filled with several stats which everyone mayn't be able to understand.
TAILPIPE POLLUTION:
Every vehicle do release harmful pollutants like carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides into the air mainly through the exhaust fumes that usually come out of the tailpipe. This type of pollution seriously damages the ozone. CAR POLLUTION is where the gases that come from the car exhaust pipe into the air.
Basically OZONE LAYER is the protective shield around the earth which protect earth from sun radiation. Bitter truth is that this particular pollution release harmful toxins which are the major cause of global warming. As we all know that global warming is where the ozone around the earth is destroyed.
WAYS TO FIX THIS ISSUE:
1. The only way to reduce tailpipe pollution is to SHARE CAR i.e instead of using one vehicle per individual, it would be better to adopt CARPOOL.
2. USE HYBRID CARS which are environment friendly and also they don't emit harmful toxins like normal car does which pollute atmosphere.
3. For shorter distances prefer WALK or BICYCLE which would help environment as well as good for our health too.
