President Obama's policies significantly reduced defense spending in the federal budget, largely to accommodate increased social welfare spending now and in the future. President Trump pushed Congress and succeeded in getting them to increase defense spending this budgetary year by $50 billion, a significant increase. What are your thoughts on this policy? obama reduced defense spending in the federal budget and largely accomodate increased social welfare spending. this policy or step must be appreciable but national security is more important than anything because if national security will be compromized then social welfare will not hep with it. social welfare necessary for the development of good society but national security is more important than this. President trump again increased defense spending this budgetary year by $50 billion, a significant increase. yes its abold and good step because USA having a various enemies and competitors in the world. we have to be ready for every action because we know that various terrorist organizations are active in the various places of the world like Afghanistan , Pakistan, Syria etc. they all said that USA is the main enemy of them . we know various terrorist organization like ISIS, TTP, Boko Haram and most important Al Qyada. and enemy countries of USA like Russia, Iran , North Korea are trying to get down USA by funding these terrorist organization. we know the current scenario of the North Korea issue , when kim zong un , dictator of the North Korea said that he wants to destroy USA and tested various destructive missiles . which can be hramfull for the USA in future. and from last 6 months various bomb blast has been noticed in the USA and various countries. so these incidents shows that increased in defense spending was a good move if we consider these incidents.
