1. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects lungs, pancreas, liver, kidney, and intestine. Longterm issues include difficulty in breathing and coughing up mucus resulting lung infection. In Paul’s all the symptoms are being shown hence he is suffering from Cystic Fibrosis disorder.
2. Presently there is known a cure for cystic fibrosis, lung infections are treated with antibiotics, on some occasions antibiotic azithromycin is used for long-term if the condition doesn't improve then lung transplantation is being conducted. As in this infection, the digestive tract is also being damaged hence fat-soluble vitamin are also being used as supplement among the young ones.
3. Pancreatic enzyme replacement is important means of treatment in the younger ones.
4. As Paul is suffering from Cystic fibrosis and he is not able to take proper breathing along with he is not able to digest the food he is consuming so he is treated with the multivitamins along with the fat-soluble vitamins.
