1) Planning about the presentation is the pre-requisite. It should include the kind of talk that you are going to deliver and this focusses around the discussion being informal or formal. Secondly, the composition of the audience is important. Attendance as well as attention of all type of audience is pivotal in preparing the oral presentation. Thirdly, the time allotted for the talk should be considered since the longer you talk the more freedom you will have to explore the topic. The next step would be to prepare the presentation where all the key points should be made ready. A graphic software like MS PowerPoint is essential for impactful understanding of the subject.
2) Children are wise but still naive for concepts and profound explanation. Moreover, they get bored easily so a comprehensive presentation should include colourful slides, cartoons or clip arts, some thing that excites them and keeps their interest alive.
3) Be precise, clear and approachable so that the supervisor or any colleague is comfortable in the discussion. The presentation should be self explanatory and should not mislead to any other arguments.
4) A balance has to be made in the presentation when the audience has both type of people. While the attention of childern is easily diverted so a proper jovile environment should be constructed, for adults, discretion and wisdom are required.
