a) Agency theory deals with conflicts between a principal and his agent. Discuss why there might be a principal-agent problem between the stockholder owners and the managers of a large corporation.

b)"Technological change eliminates thousands of jobs every year. Unless something is done to slow the growth of technology, ordinary workers will face a bleak future of low wages and high unemployment." Discuss why you agree or disagree with this statement.

c)Consumer satisfaction and utility can be increased by things other than narrowly defined, material consumption. "Self-interest" is not identical to selfishness. Helping other may be something that increases one's own satisfaction. Explore this concept in terms of motivation and altruistic activities and choices.

This is not true at all. Technological advances and innovation creates jobs and keeps people employed In this case, it is the exact opposite. If there were no technological advances, we would not see economic growth and jobs would be lost
