Community-based mental health services assume a level of patient support from family and friends. yet many people do not have a personal support system. They cannot or do not adhere to medication regimens, have difficulty maintaining therapy and/or counseling. and so on. Should inpatient residential care be mandated for those who are unable to maintain outpatient treatment? Yes the inpatient residential care should be mandated for the people who cannot move out for the treatment.Some people may not have family support or personal support to council them to get their mind away from the painful disease.For those people,this kind of community health services should be provided and of course it was going on and each community has a nurse known as community nursing service.This service if especially for the people who are alone and who doesn't get any personal support.So in my opinion inpatient residential care should be made compulsory for the patients who are unable to maintain outpatient treatment.
