How does assisted suicide different from the choice to elect Hospice care?

Hospice care are meant to give supportive care to people in the final phase of a terminal illness and focus on comfort and quality of life, rather than cure. The aim is to enable patients to be comfortable and free of pain, so that they live each day as fully as possible.

Assisted suicide is the termination of life with the assistance of another person, especially the taking of lethal drugs provided by a doctor for the purpose by a patient suffering from a terminal illness or incurable condition.
