B is the correct answer because after seeing the case it is the only thing that can be proven. A is not correct because the doctor runs her own private practice and she has the privileges of working with this another hospital, so certainly she won't be careless while performing the surgery. So that makes option C and D incorrect as well.

So Dr. Jones breached the duty to properly disclose the risks to the patient is the only point that Smith's wife can prove.
