Scenario: You work in a Hospital setting and are told by your ICU unit director of a patient in the unit that has suffered serious brain damage, but is not currently meeting the criteria for complete brain death. Half of the family is insisting that the patient "wouldn't want to live this way" and the other half is accusing them of wanting to kill the patient. Some allegations have been raised about a substantial inheritance for some family members upon the patient's death. The battle is becoming intense and it is beginning to disrupt the medical and nursing staff.

A)Each country had his own legal ,medical and ethical issues regarding differnet case scenarios.This may vary from country to country and hospital to hospital.Here we give some opinions and experience regarding this case.

Already the case looks partial brain death as per the topic.As you know the medical decision for this case is so complicated because he is partilaly alive.In the ethical aspect each patient and individuals have the right to select the decision(death &alive) included the closest famliy member.so the decision is depened upon the patient and family members and need a final and regular consulation with the respective hospital for the decision

When we think in legal aspects it may have many complicated networks for the decison as per the law it is a way to murder a patient,if they go by the country law.in this aspect need to know what the law says.One aspect yes the misuse of the laws can happen,but when the ethical part it gives lot pain to the families.

B)As you know in medical case it is very tough and hardest to recovre this type of patient,because all the other organ are working as usual but only the brain death happen.It may cost the life of family which lead to non tolerate for their economy and health aspect,Also rapid increase of medical care expensives.so even the patient willlead to may complication for his health.

C)The decision and action is depend on the case to cae analysis,and also it is by the opinion of the medical phyiscan as well the hospital polices.We know this case we category as DNR(DO NOT RESUCITATION),it is the supportive part for the medicla cares safety,Anything can happen in a small interval of time.so still final decision is by the hospital authorites.

D)The resources are in vast aspect for this patient and somethimes the poor family cant affordable it.so mininal resources and proper care can help for a stable life or peaceful death
