If the company makes the test part of its hiring procedure and only hires people who meet the previous requirements and also pass the test, what percent of the new hires will turn out to be good workers? The percent of new hires that will be good workers is %. (Round to the nearest tenth.)

The answer is simple Since it hires only those who pass the test, so P = Good workers who passed the test/(Good workers who passed the test + Poor workers who passed the test) = 48% / (48% + 6%) = 88.89% (48% = 80% * 60%, 6% = 20% * 30%)
