Health policy and Saudi Healthcare system:

This paper describes the healthcare provision in Saudi Arabia and the development of new policy with the current challenges. The Economic growth increases the demands of health needs. The behavioral change impacts the health needs of the population. The paper aims to determine the functioning system of Saudi Arabia. The paper also discusses the current health care system of Saudi.

I want to write about the strength and weakness of Saudi healthcare system. The healthcare system challenges the high and low healthcare services. I want to discuss the health system specifically at all levels at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.

I have an opinion that Saudi health system has lack of healthcare professionals, availability of limited resources, lack of finance for free service, and poor accessible of health services. The paper analyses the health services of Saudi, and the challenges in the accessibility of services.

I selected this topic because the Saudi Arabia is a developing country and the Government takes several steps in the development of healthcare services at all levels (i.e primary, secondary, and tertiary). At present, The Ministry of Health has planned and implemented several health programs and policies.

This topic is important because the Government has involving the private sector in the healthcare industry. The private sector and government bodies collaborate to provide services in case of emergencies. Additionally, there is a significant advancement in the healthcare industry. Despite this, still, Saudi is facing numerous challenges in the healthcare system.

The Ministry of Health designs the policies and healthcare system. The MOH funds for the healthcare delivery. The government provides free services to all the people even for the expatriates. But lag behind in technology.

I think the necessary needs to be done in Saudi Healthcare system is the government has to think of long-term needs and financial resources. Secondly, the effective use of technology to improve the efficiency of health services.
