a)

A lamp which is (ho) = 7.5 cm tall

The object distance is (u) =113.4 cm in front of a converging lens

The focal length of the converging lens is (f) = 40.5 cm.

We know the from the lens formula

1/f =1/u+1/v

The image distance is given by 1/v =1/f-1/u =1/40.5 -1/113.4

Then v =63.36cm

b)Here the image v =63.36cm is postive , therefore the image is real and inverted.

c)

There will be no image on the screen
