R = 10 + 33 = 43 ohm

when 10 ohm and 33 ohm are connected in paralle , the resulatant resitance is less than the single resistance so, the 10 ohm and 33 ohm cicuit has least total resitance

1/R = 1/10 + 1/33

R = 7.67 ohm
