Question
Most of the black holes observed by astronomers have masses equal to a few solar masses equal to a few solar masses (the result of the death of a high mass star) or have masses equal to several million solar masses (found at the core of most galaxies). Recently, a third category of black hole has been observed with a mass between these two extremes. Calculate the Schwarzschild radius (in meters) of a black hole that has a total mass equal to 20 solar masses.

Explanation / Answer
Schwarchld radius R = 2GM/c^2
here M = 20 Solar massses
G = 6.67 e -11
c is speed of light = 3 e8 m/s
Rs = (2 *6.67 e -11* 20 * 1.99 e 30)/(3e8*3e8)
Rs = 5.89 *10^4 m -----<<<<<<<<<Answer
