Ans 19: he Spinal column of human is consist of 33 bones out of which 7 vertebrae in the cervical region, 12 in the thoracic region, 5 in the lumbar region, 5 in the sacral region and 4 in the coccygeal region.

Ans 20: The five section of spinal column are -

(i) 7 vertebrae in the cervical region,

(ii) 12 in the thoracic region

(iii) 5 in the lumbar region

(iv) 5 in the sacral region and

(v)4 in the coccygeal region

Ans 21: The function of the intervertebral disk is to acts as shock absorber between each of the vertebrae in the spinal column by keeping the vertebrae separated when there is impact from activity. Where as in second degree concussion, there is no loss of consciousness but symptoms last longer than 15 minutes.
