We know, E = h*c/lamda

so, when E is large lamda is minimum.

so the transistion is, ni = 2 to nf = 5

E = 13.6 eV*(1/2^2 - 1/5^2)

= 2.86 eV


E = h*c/lamda

==> lamda = h*c/E

= 6.625*10^-34*3*10^8/(2.86*1.6*10^-19)

= 4.34*10^-7 m or 434 nm
