a) lense is a convergent lense becasue the ray became straight after passing the lense its mean that the ray came out after passing the focus point.

b) The position of bug is the focal point and the focal lenth will be

f = 13(0.50) cm = 6.5cm

d) According to the foumula

1/f = 1/p + 1/q

1/q = 1/p -1/f

q = pf / f-p

q =(3.5)( 6.5) / 3.5+6.5

q = 2.2cm
