voy = 10 m/s

vox = 15 m/s

now use kinematic equation,

-h = voy*t - 0.5*g*t^2

-30 = 10*t - 0.5*9.8*t^2

4.9*t^2 - 10*t - 30 = 0

on solving the above equation we get, t = 3.7 s

so, Horizontal distance travelled, x = vox*t

= 15*3.7

==> t = sqrt(2*h/g)
