Future Studies: Repeat a similar study to ensure the HER2 is inhibited before progressing to the cell proliferation and apoptosis assays Determine if there is a separate pathway between HER2 and FOXA1. It could be possible that the linkage is not a direct pathway and that there is another element to the negative correlation between HER2 and FOXA1 .

Explanation / Answer

There are three objectives, one of them was to inhibit HER2 levels using siRNA in BT474 breast cancer by treating it with siRNA. In the conclusion, there's no inhibition nor any decrease in HER2 levels when treated with siRNA.So the conclusion doesn't even address the main objective of the study. The points in future studies are logical since the main objective is to inhibit HER2 levels and find the relationship between HER2 and FOXA1. Utilizing siRNA for the treatment in the research is interesting. Why siRNA was used to inhibit HER2 levels in breast cancer.
