eukaryotic cell cell membrane is the biological membrane that separates the interior of the cell from the exterior environment. cytosol is the aqueous component of the cell within which various organelles and particles are suspended. Cell nucleus is the membrane-enclosed organelle which consist of all the genetic information of the cell. Nuclear membrane or envelope is the membrane that encloses te nucleus. it is made of lipids and protects the genetic materials. Nucleolus is the largest structure in the nucleus and is also known as site of ribosome biogenesis. chromatin is a complex of macromolecules consisting of DNA, RNA and protein. Golgi apparatus helps in modifying, sorting, packaging of the proteins for secretion. Smooth ER: participates in synthesis of lipids, steroid hormones and detoxification of the metabolic byproducts. rough ER: Ribosomes are found on rough ER, responsible for assembly of proteins. Ribosome synthesises the proteins for repairing damages and signaling. mitochondria produces currency of energy ATP, through respiration to regulate cellular metabolism. Centrosome is responsible for organising microtubules for providing the cell structure. centriole in a cell help in formation of spindle fibres that sepaartes chromosome during division. vacuole is used in a cell to store material and wastes. it also maintains proper pressure inside the cells. cilia mainly acts as a sensory organelle.
