Alexander and Hines (2002) showed that female vervet monkeys prefer toys that the researchers called girl-typical and male vervet monkeys prefer toys that the researched called boy-typical. This research was viewed as very controversial by social scientists who study gender differences and attribute these differences to how an individual is raised rather than genetic differences or the result of hormones. Please read this paper and critique the methodology and conclusions as though you are a social scientist who comes from the perspective that gender differences in humans is based primarily on how children are raised, in other words, gender differences are learned not genetic.
Explanation / Answer
In this 22 males and 22 females are choosen ranging from 2 month to 185 month living in stable , social group. And in this it is found that there is no sex difference in absoulute apporoach time .
