Explanation / Answer

Colonization in Mars is at the center of scientific debate now for a long time. There are many reasons that supports the concept of this colonization, whereas many health related issues are strongly against the process. The main problem with the atmosphere there at Mars is the very low pressure at the surface. Temperature at the lower latitudes in Mars is very much comparable to that of the temperature of Antarctica. Temperature is not the problem in this case. Moreover Mars is the closest planet for which transportation cost per unit mass is less. Water can be filled out there.

Instead of the facilities, habilitation in Mars is almost impossible because of the health problems it will generate in the habitats.

Physical health:

At these very low pressure negative effects on the bone strength is a vital point of concern. At these pressure, bones become weak and can even result in osteoporosis and cardiovascular problems.

Physiological problems:

Rehabilitation in Mars will require a prolonged time of isolation and a delayed communication with the earth. This will pose serious physiological challenges for the habitats.

Radiation:

Thin atmosphere out there permits a greater amount of ionizing radiation to percolate through the atmosphere. This higher levels of radiation makes the conditions more hostile for the humans. This radiation can even cause cancer in the habitats.
