Explanation / Answer

The principal features are the growth phase of the hair, cuticle structure, type of pigment and color. These features help in identifying the type of race that the hair belongs to. Anagen is one of the phases of growing hair which is active. In this phase the hair divides from the root hair and it grows half an inch for every 28 days. Catagen is a phase next to the anagen where the active growth of hair stops. This will last for 14-20 days. Telogen is the ending phase of hair where the hair starts falling. This can happen due to stress involved like sleepless nights, work pressure etc. No, Because the fallen hair don't have a DNA to individualize it. Medullary index = size of medulla/ diameter of hair = 58/110 =0.527
