As, frequency of vibration , f =   (1/2pi) * sqrt(k/m)

where, k = spring constant

            m = mass

a) As, bags of sands are added , mass is increased . Thus, frequency of vibration is decreased .

b) As, stiffer springs are used , spring constant is increased . Thus, frequency of vibration is increased .
