resultant dispalcement = A1 + A2 = (+A) + (-A) = 0 ...Ans


at b. both wave have crest at this point.

A = A1 + A2 = (A) + (A) = 2 A = 2 x 2 cm

at c, both have trough,

A = (-2) + (-2) = - 4 cm .....Ans
