A carefull analysis of a falling object reveals that the falling object is not remaining in constant motion rather it is accelerating and hence must have an outaide force acting on it.
Its speed is incresing downward that means the force pulling it down. After a carefull measurement it comes to know that speed is increasing by exactly 9.8 m/s every second. This is known as acceleration due to gravity .
According to newtons law : F = m×a
Where m is the mass of the object and a = g . ( acceleration due to gravity)
F = mg
There is no change in the rate of acceleration that is acceleration is constant .
Hence the gravitation force also be constant.
